Leveraging data to explore the content lifecycle

A conversation with Jamie Perez of the Center for American Progress

A new approach with the Data Innovation Studio to advance content analytics and engagement for the mission-driven sector.

How can data improve your organization’s services and messaging? And how can improved utilization of data support the impact of your organization’s pursuit of a more progressive world?

None of these questions can be answered in isolation, and ParsonsTKO’s Data Innovation Studio aims to connect thoughtful leaders who are ready to explore creative, innovative applications of data in the mission-driven space. In this webinar, we share what inspired us to start this new program and how data can be used to measure and manage content operations ― from initial concept through content creation and distribution.

During this webinar, we introduce you to the Studio; highlight Studio member, Jamie Perez from the Center for American Progress (CAP) and his work with content at CAP; and walk through our ongoing Content Impact Study. This webinar highlights the ways collaboration and data can improve your mission-driven organization’s work in the context of content development.

Speakers

Stefan Byrd-Kreuger

Chief Analytics Officer

Stefan Byrd-Krueger’s journey to professional nirvana began with his passion for the arts as a sculptural welder, developed through his university training in policy analysis and years of experience in grassroots education and advocacy among think tanks, then blossomed as he took his love of elegant design and organizational excellence into the private sector as a digital marketing consultant. This blend of creative process, recognition of the human element of organizational success, and love of the technical discipline defines his working style.

Stefan is a data evangelist, specialized in analytics and the uniquely complex needs of the non-profit sector. His career has centered around the use of technology in communications portfolios, including experience in programming, design, and digital strategy. He has played the role of client as well as the role of consultant, and works to close the gap between the two.

VP of Digital Strategy at CAP

Jamie Perez is the vice president of Digital Strategy at American Progress, where he manages a team focused on driving impact with audiences across all categories and channels. Previously, Perez served as the senior vice president of branding and digital marketing for the Urban Land Institute—a global, interdisciplinary membership organization providing leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities around the world.

Perez spent more than 15 years working for digital agencies, including Threespot, AKQA, and Magnet Interactive. With a focus on creative strategy and content strategy, he worked for a diverse group of nonprofit, government, and commercial clients, including the Brookings Institution, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, AT&T, Kellogg’s, Nike, and then-House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). His work has continuously sought and served the intersection of organizational mission and audience needs and values.
