ParsonsTKO & TechSoup Summer 2020 Data Strategy Mentorship Program
Data for Good
This inaugural program is designed for a select group of upcoming data analysts and scientists to learn more about what the social impact and non-profit analytics sectors look like from industry professionals. It’s also an opportunity for them to collaborate on socially minded data projects, and to support and learn from each other as a community of future leaders at this intersection.
Data Strategy Fellows engage in diverse programming throughout Summer 2020:
Weekly thematic programming:
- Each week of the program will have a theme that relates to either to data analysis as a whole, or to the specific application of data and analytics to the nonprofit and social impact sectors.
Seminars:
- TechSoup and ParsonsTKO are inviting their peers in industry and academia to share firsthand insight into their daily work and career journeys through a special seminar series.
Participant-led discussions:
- Fellows will have the opportunity to self-organize and facilitate learning sessions on topics that interest them, inviting guest speakers and leading discussions and brainstorming sessions.
Collaborative projects:
- Fellows will complete group projects that complement each week’s themes. Each project will end with a short presentation and a Medium blog post discussing experiences and findings.
TechSoup and ParsonsTKO will create a learning environment that is fueled primarily by fellows’ own ideas and passions. Weekly themes, check-ins, and seminars provide a cadence and structure to support participants’ learning goals and ongoing career explorations.
Individuals who are interested in this program for future data leaders are invited to submit this registration form:
